TMJ and Facial Pain Evaluation

Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) is a complex condition affecting your temporomandibular joints (TMJ). Pain and mandibular dysfunction are signs of jaw joint (TMJ) problems. The only way we can make a proper diagnosis is to have a comprehensive clinical and radiographic examination. The treatment is dictated by clinical and radiographic findings. In some cases, if surgery is indicated, we do make referrals to well-respected institutions where surgery can be done with the utmost safety. In other instances, conservative therapy can be done in our office which consists of anything from physical therapy, jaw exercises and orthotic splints.
